Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 20, 2026

These Terms of Service apply to the use of Igomoya ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Overview

Igomoya is an educational picture-quiz app for young children and their parents. It helps children recognize and name everyday things across six categories: animals, fruits, flags, vehicles, dinosaurs, and musical instruments.

  • The App works fully offline. All quiz data and images are bundled in the App
  • Quizzes are offered in several formats, including picture-to-name, name-to-picture, card matching, word puzzles, jigsaw, and close-up recognition
  • The App uses your device's built-in text-to-speech to pronounce answers, so children who cannot yet read can follow along

2. Terms of Use

Eligibility

  • This App is available to users of all ages and is designed primarily for young children
  • Minors should use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian

Account

  • This App does not require account registration. There is no sign-up or sign-in of any kind
  • All App data — including coins, streaks, collection progress, and settings — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us
  • Deleting the App removes this data. We cannot recover or transfer it

3. Coin System

  • Coins are required to play quizzes in the App
  • Free coins are provided daily, with additional bonuses for consecutive daily use
  • Where the option is available, additional coins can be earned by watching advertisements
  • Coins cannot be purchased with money. They are obtained only through the free methods described above
  • Coins have no monetary value, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between devices

4. In-App Purchases

The App currently offers no in-app purchases. There is nothing to buy, and no payment information is collected. The terms in this section apply only if and when a paid option is introduced in a future version.

Planned Premium Upgrade

  • A future version may offer a premium upgrade as an in-app purchase that includes ad removal and additional features
  • If offered, the premium upgrade would be a non-consumable product, available permanently once purchased, with Family Sharing supported

Payment

  • Any in-app purchase would be processed through the Apple App Store
  • Prices may vary by region and exchange rates
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation

Refunds

  • Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policy
  • To request a refund, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com

5. Intellectual Property

App Content

  • All content in the App, including images, text, designs, and logos, is owned by us and protected by copyright law
  • Users may only use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

Restrictions

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification of App content
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
  • Using the App for commercial purposes
  • Interfering with App services or compromising system security

6. Advertising

  • This App contains advertisements provided through Google AdMob
  • Because the App is directed to children, advertising is requested with child-directed treatment enabled and is limited to general-audience (G-rated) ad content
  • In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, an advertising consent form is presented on first launch. You can revisit your choice at any time from the App's Settings screen
  • On iOS, the App asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before any tracking identifier is used. Declining does not restrict any App feature
  • Watching an optional rewarded advertisement can temporarily remove banner advertising or grant additional coins
  • Responsibility for advertisement content lies with the respective advertisers

7. Service Changes and Termination

  • We may change, add, or remove App features without prior notice
  • We may temporarily or permanently discontinue App services at any time
  • We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruption

8. Disclaimer

Service Provision

  • The App is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the App

AI-Generated Content

  • Some or all of the images included in the App are created using artificial intelligence (AI) technology
  • These images are provided for educational and entertainment purposes and may not exactly match the appearance, color, or details of their real-world subjects
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or factual representation of AI-generated images, and such images should not be relied upon for academic or professional purposes

Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from App use
  • We are not liable for damages caused by third-party services or advertisements

9. Changes to Terms

  • We may change these Terms at any time
  • Significant changes will be communicated through App updates or in-app notices
  • If you do not agree to the changed Terms, please discontinue using the App

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea
  • Disputes related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in the Republic of Korea
